After inheriting his father ‘Cecil’s’ “Voice” He always’s had a love of ‘ The Crooner’s’, Bing Crosby being his favorite. His youngest daughter was named after Tracy in The Philadelphia Story.
Geoff Joined ‘ The West Wycombe Entertainment Group’ in the early seventie’s, and Trod The Stage with many of his close friend’s form the local villages. His Daugher Jane also joined the Group. In Radnage ‘I’ttle be alright on the night’ held many a popular show. Entertaining locals.
He could often be seen ‘and heard’ singing the song’s for the next show or learning his lines whilst walking ‘Benson and Chip’ through the woods.
The Sunshine Singers came next Evolving into ‘The Last Resort’. A Group of 20 plus dedicated individuals who ‘Raised Spirits and Belly Laughs. (The Wise NEVER sat in The Front Row !!! )
He would make a lot of his ‘Props’ The Mexicans Hat, the Toothed Cavemans Club or Aladins Curley Toed Shoe’s etc. His Great Grandfather was a ‘Mastor Taylor’ to The Royal Family. He used to put ‘Hidden Pockets’ in the ‘Children’s’ clothes’s for their sweet’s etc.. so as not to ‘ Spoil the Line’ of The Outfit. As well as making clothes for Joan and The Girls he made and Wore all his own BOW TIES in a ‘Miriad of Colours.
