Not only did Geoff make sculpture’s of the horse. He had a great interest in all aspects of the equine field. In the mid 1970’s he was a ‘Cross Country Coarse Builder, for The Aston Park Horse Trials and for Chequers Manor Horse Trials in Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire, UK. With Mr R.G.S. Smallwood, from The Radnage House Riding School. His interest in the South Oxfordshire South Branch of The Pony Club Mounted Games Association. Being both Organiser and Commentator at one Point, and Avid Supporter of course!

The Mounted Games were started in 1957 with the object of giving Pony Club Members a chance of competing in an exciting competition on average club ponie’s and, more importantly to encourage ‘"Team Spirit" and ‘Good Sportsmanship." Perpetual Challenge Cup is presented by ‘ His Royal Highness Prince Phillip, The Duke of Edinburgh, for the Mounted Games Championship, an Annual Event. Travelling hundreds of mile’s to hard to find fieldgrounds’s in all Weathers, with his Faithfull Companions, Benson and Chip "off the old block." He always kept a hand drawn copy of the ‘ Colours and names of Ponies and Riders so he could keep a keen and knowledgeable ‘eye’ on their progress. Adding to the ‘depth’ of his Commentary.

His voice also took him to Portugal, where he was called ‘ Sir Geoff’ after his long association with The Turville Valley Stud, Oxon, England. He traveled over to commentate for the Viva Iberica 1995 show for The Famous classically trained Spanish Andalusian and Portugese Lusitano Horses.
